These original Aerial Photographs were all taken from an album put together between September 1928 and March 1929. Coastal Reconnaisance by Flying Boat S1230. Most of the photographs have a small black quarter circle top left where clock was fitted to give the Time taken for later analysis, In this space there is usually (but not always): Reference no., Location, Date and Time, F no, and Altitude.

There is a a boxed cachet on the back of most of the larger photographs.
